MARAMI ang nagtaas ng kilay, lalong-lalo na ang loyalists ni Jennylyn Mercado nang masangkot ang pangalan ng kanilang idolo sa kontrobersyal na hiwalayan blues ng mag-asawang Claudine Barretto at Raymart Santiago.

Sa naturang tsika, si Jennylyn ang itinuturong third party.

Siyempre, react-to-death si Jen sa pagsasabing wala siyang kaalam-alam kung bakit nakaladkad ang kanyang pangalan sa maselang usapin ng mag-asawa at nakikiusap na sana naman daw, huwag siyang isali sa anumang nangyayari kina Raymart at Claudine.

As in, hindi raw feel ni Jennylyn na pumatol sa isang may-asawa. Marami naman daw binata na umaali-aligid sa kanya.

Isa na nga rito ang napapabalitang rumored sweetheart ni Jennylyn na si Luis Manzano.

Kulang na lang yata sa dalawang ito na amining may relasyon sila dahil iba naman ang kinikilos ng dalawa kapag magkasama sila, lalung-lalo na sa mga lugar na malayo sa mata ng masa.

Sa isyung kinasangkutan lately ni Jen, dinipensahan naman ni Luis ang sexy actress sa mga taong nag-iisip ng hindi maganda kay Jen.

Pero sa binata ni Gov. Vilma Santos, ibang klaseng babae si Jennylyn pagdating daw sa katapangan at pagiging palaban.

Lubus-lubos din ang tiwala ni Luis kay Jen at hinding-hindi raw magagawa ni Jennylyn na pumatol sa isang may-asawa, tulad ng isinasangkot sa kanya sa isyu kina Claudine at Raymart.

Luis shrugs off rumors linking Jennylyn to Paolo, Raymart

MANILA, Philippines -Actor Luis Manzano defended his rumored girlfriend, Jennylyn Mercado, who is currently being linked to actors Paolo Contis and Raymart Santiago.

In an interview with Push.com.ph, Manzano said he and Mercado have no idea where these rumors started.

"I'm not sure kung sinong may pakana pero obviously, someone's out to bring her down," he said.

"Ganun naman talaga 'yung mga ganong tao, hindi na magbabago 'yan. Hayaan na natin 'yan," he added.

Manzano said Mercado even invited him to visit her on the set of her recently concluded television series, which also included Contis and Santiago in the cast.

"Dumalaw ako dun at kasama ko sa isang table sina Paolo. Kung may sinasabi silang something-something, eh ba't pa ako papupuntahin? Very common sense. Dumalaw ako sa [set ng teleserye nila recently] nasa isang table kami, ako, si Paolo and si Jen. And bakit pa niya ako papupuntahin dun, 'di ba?" he said.

Manzano added that Mercado has already talked to Santiago about the issue. Santiago is the husband of actress Claudine Barretto.

Asked about his current relationship with Mercado, Manzano said, "Basta I'm happier than ever. Kumbaga things fell... hindi na falling, things fell into place."

Luis slams latest rumor about Jennylyn



MANILA, Philippines – Luis Manzano believes that the buzz linking the apple of his eye, Jennylyn Mercado, to Paolo Contis and Raymart Santiago is just a ploy to put her in bad light.

“I’m not sure kung sinong may pakana pero obviously someone’s out to bring her down,” Luis was quoted as saying in a report by Push.com.ph posted on Nov. 10.

He continued, “Ganun naman talaga ‘yung mga ganong tao hindi na magbabago ‘yan, hayaan na natin ‘yan. Ang sa akin lang, it’s pretty obvious someone’s out to ruin her, I’m not sure what’s his intention but unfortunately it’s part of the industry na may mga tao talagang walang magawa.”

To prove his point, Luis said in the same interview that he visited Jennylyn upon her invitation on the set of now-defunct “Futbolilits,” where he even sat with her and her co-star Paolo in one table. Raymart topbilled said series.

“Kung may sinasabi silang something-something, eh ba’t pa ako papupuntahin? Very common sense… It goes to show that someone’s out to bring her down,” he explained, adding that the actress wasn’t also even aware where these rumors come from and that they are all in good terms with each other.

In any case, Luis said Jennylyn faces these issues “very well.”

“Alam naman niya na aspeto talaga ‘yan ng industriya, wala kang magagawa may mga tao talagang medyo hindi na-breastfeed. Kulang kulang ang laman ng utak, walang ibang gagawin kundi manira, hindi masyadong nayakap nung bata [sila],” he added.

Saying that they’re “transparent” to each other especially when it comes to such things, Luis stated, “My point [is that] I just want to inform her din na I don’t want her to be caught off guard.”

Meanwhile, the actor just smiled when asked about his and Jennylyn’s relationship status.

Luis Manzano flashed a big grin when asked about the status of his relationship with Jennylyn Mercado, whom he is exclusively dating. “Tingnan mo ‘yung smile [ko],” was his meaningful response. “Basta I am happier than ever. Kumbaga things fell… hindi na falling, things fell into place.”

Prior to being asked about the status of his relationship with Jennylyn, Luis had been seriously addressing issues linking Jennylyn to two actors, Paolo Contis and Raymart Santiago. He shared that he and Jennylyn have talked about this and just like him, the actress was also clueless as to where the issue came from. “I’m not sure kung sinong may pakana pero obviously someone’s out to bring her down,” explained Luis. “Alam ko kung [anong meron sila].”

He continued that when Jennylyn was romantically linked to Raymart, he and Jennylyn discussed about the matter but decided not to let the issue affect them since they are all on good terms. “’Yung kay Raymart tinanong ko lang kung saan galing ‘yon kahit siya hindi niya alam,” said Luis. He said that Jennylyn even talked to Raymart about the issue, which both surprised them. Luis added, “And tinanong ko rin siya, ‘Oy may issue ka ngayon ‘yung kay Paolo.’ Ang sabi niya paano nangyari ‘yon? If I’m not mistaken si Paolo ay ninong ni Jazz (Jennylyn’s son) so kumbaga nagkasama pa sila, si Paolo, si Lian (Paz, Paolo’s partner) and si Jen and Jazz.”

Despite all the controversy, Luis was relieved that Jen is able to handle these issues well. “It’s very, very unfair but at the same time she handles it very well. Ako my point [is that] I just want to inform her din na I don’t want her to be caught off guard,” said Luis.
