MANILA, Philippines – American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz serenaded thousands of his Filipino fans at the Araneta Coliseum on Sunday.
The Grammy award-winning performer, who was wearing jeans and shirt with the word "peace" on it, sang his famous hits using various acoustic guitars.
He was joined by his longtime friend, percussionist Noel “Toca” Rivera.
Mraz enjoyed singing his own hits from his past albums. The audience, on the other hand, gamely sang along with him.
Among the songs Mraz performed were “Remedy,” "Beautiful Mess," "Lucky," “The Woman I Love” and “You and I Both.”
For his finale, Mraz staged his most popular song so far, “I’m Yours.”
Mraz rose to international fame after the said single landed at number 6 at the Billboard Hot 100 list. That was his first Top 10 single.
Celebrities spotted in the event were rumored couple Luis Manzano and Jennylyn Mercado, couple Danica Sotto and Marc Pingris, and “Pinoy Big Brother Host” Robi Domingo.
